A note on the costumes

A couple of people--well, my mom and one of my aunts--have asked about the dressy-ness of the wedding. Well, it's not black-tie and it's not a hoedown. Guys should wear ties and girls should wear whatever you wear when a guy is wearing a tie. But the wedding is taking place at a refurbished mayonaise factory, so, really, no worries if you want to do something "festive."

Can I wear my Best Foods tee-shirt?

A tie? Crikey - this is going to take some doing. How about a Hawaiian shirt with a lei?

Does God know about all this?

God has been kept out of the loop.

Hawaiian shirt plus lei sounds nice.

I am going to do my best not to look like I am going to a pool party at Tara Reid's.

Alternatively I plan to do my very, very best to look exactly like I am going to a pool party at Tara Reid's. She's my hero. I'm so wearing peek-a-boo straps. This is a Billyburg wedding right? I refuse to dress for Sunday school!?!
